BRI-Traveloka Promo Offers 50 Percent Transaction Discount

JAKARTA, NNC –¬†Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan and Eid 1439 Hijriyah, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and Traveloka partner to offer ease and various benefits in transactions during Ramadhan using BRI Credit Card.

At the beginning of Ramadhan this year, Bank BRI and Traveloka offer a discount promo up to 50 percent for bookings of airline tickets, hotels, and other voucher purchases using the BRI Credit Card. Meanwhile, especially in the Ramadhan month, Bank BRI and Traveloka provide special discount 25 percent for the purchase of train tickets and discounts up to IDR100 thousand for the purchase of bus tickets.

“This cooperation is an effort of Bank BRI in assisting the Government to facilitate passengers in finding tickets without queuing and reducing the practice of brokering, as well as providing a more affordable ticket prices especially for people who want to go home or go on holiday during Eid,” said Handayani, Director of Consumer Bank BRI in a written statement on Saturday (5/19/2010).

He added that interesting offers continue until the end of 2018. BRI and Traveloka cooperation provides many benefits through their regular program of “Weekly Deals” in the form of discounts up to 50 percent.

“We see the momentum of Ramadhan as a good opportunity to launch a program of cooperation that is the BRI Weekly Deals to facilitate activities during fasting and preparing trips back and forth. With Traveloka application, BRI customers are pampered with various facilities to enjoy not only travel products but also lifestyle,” said Dannis Muhammad, Chief Marketing Officer of Traveloka.

Until the end of April 2018, BRI’s outstanding credit card loans grows double-digit by 20.1 percent year on year, growth in the number of credit cards by 53.9 percent yoy, and the volume of credit card transactions grows by 10 percent yoy.

“We are optimistic, the moment of Ramadan and Eid will boost the performance of BRI’s consumer business, one of them is credit card,” he added.
